Bondareff will serve as a speaker at the North American Marine Environment Protection Association’s (“NAMEPA”) NAMEPA 2024 Annual Conference & Marine Environment Protection Awards, being held Thursday, October 24, 2024, from 1:00 to 9:30 p.m., in New York, New York. ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The conference will deep dive into “Disruption & Opportunity in Maritime: Breaking Free from the Status Quo” and be followed by an evening celebrating students, organizations, and maritime experts working to protect our marine environment. Joan’s topic for the conference, “Maritime Policy under Different Political Parties: Environmental Considerations,” is part of the “Geopolitical Forces in Maritime: Navigating a Complex Landscape” session, taking place from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m.

Other topics in that session include "Geopolitical Impacts on Shipping" and "Global Maritime Security Challenges."
