PBI CLE Seminar

Via Philadelphia and Live Simulcasts

Blank Rome Government Relations LLC Principal Joe McMonigle will be a faculty member for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute’s (“PBI”) seminar on “Preparing for the Trump Presidency,” which will commence at 1:30 p.m. EST on November 18, 2016, via in-person attendance at The CLE Conference Center in Philadelphia or via simulcasts at the PBI Conference Center and the PBI Professional Development Conference Center.

Mr. McMonigle will be joined by G. Terry Madonna, Director of the Center for Politics and Public Affairs, Franklin & Marshall College; Stanley Brand, Senior Counsel at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP and a former General Counsel to the U.S. House of Representatives under Speaker Thomas P. “Tip” O'Neill; and Brian Rosenwald, Ph.D., University of Pennsylvania.

Together, they will discuss what a Trump presidency means for America—including businesses and clients—in the aftermath of Tuesday’s “electoral earthquake.” Specifically, each faculty member will cover:

  • Joe McMonigle: the effect of the Trump administration on U.S. energy policy
  • G. Terry Madonna: what will happen during the first 100 days of the Trump presidency
  • Brian Rosenwald: how Trump will deal with the political polarization that permeates the country and the legislature
  • Stanley Brand: the constitutional limits of Executive power

Attendees are eligible to receive 3.00 CLE credits.
