U.S. Policy and Alternative Energy Initiatives
Israel Alternative & Renewable Energy & Cleantech Conference
New York City
June 19, 2007
Blank Rome is proud to co-sponsor the Israel Alternative & Renewable Energy & Cleantech Conference with the America–Israel Chamber of Commerce, New York State–Empire State Development, the Government of Israel Economic Mission, and other leading business organizations and academic institutions in Israel and New York. The conference is held on June 29, 2007, at 7 World Trade Center in New York City. It features comprehensive corporate presentations, in-depth panels, executive keynotes, and learning sessions.
Panelists at "U.S. Policy and Alternative Energy Initiatives" include Peter A. Peyser, principal at Blank Rome Government Relations LLC, Glen R. Thomas, president of GT Power Group and former chair of the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, and Greg Dierkers, senior policy analyst at the National Governors Association Center for Best Practices.
Facilitating research and commercial relationships between U.S. and Israeli companies, the conference introduces companies to resources and projects in the development stages, and discusses challenges and opportunities in alternative and renewable energy. Israel has more than 100 companies—mostly in early stages—providing solutions in cleantech, fuel cells, solar, and renewable energy. In addition, Israel is a leader in drip irrigation / precision farming, which reduces chemical use, raises yields, and protects the environment.
