Advanced Planning: Emergency Preparedness for Your Business

Blank Rome is pleased to sponsor the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce event, "Emergency Preparedness for Your Business." This half-day program will highlight emergency preparedness on business and regional levels, and will culminate with a luncheon featuring keynote speaker, the Honorable Tom Ridge, who will share a national perspective.
In the afternoon, Mark A. Holman, principal of Blank Rome Government Relations LLC, will present "Avanced Planning (Mid-size to Large Businesses)." This session will begin with a national update on what is being done in legislation to assist with emergency management and what funding sources will become available in 2007. The presentation will be followed by an interactive panel discussion with regional companies that will share an inside look into contingency planning and emergency response. Listen as they share best practices and real life examples of how they were prepared/unprepared for an emergency and what effect it had on their employees, suppliers and customers. Topics of discussion will include managing emergencies as catastrophic as hurricane Katrina to more common threats such as flood, fires and storms.
